I teach philosophy (mainly ethics and political philosophy) at Leiden University since 2003. Before that I worked in Amsterdam, Bowling Green State University and at the Australian National University in Canberra.

My reasearch interests are, on the one hand, in the intersection of ethics, rational choice theory and action theory. On the other hand, I am getting more and more interested in issues of applied distributive justice. I have a paper on international justice and I intend to do some work on justice and taxation in the near future. For more information of this kind, look at my curriculum vitae.

A list of electronic papers can be found here.

I am associate editor of the excellent journal Philosophical Explorations and on the editorial board of The European Journal of Analytic Philosophy.

This page is bound to improve in the future (more pictures and news about other things besides philosophy). However, some up to date stuff can be found on my blog: Capetti.
